Our Love Potions Are Superfoods Magic

LOVE is in the air. Can you smell the roses and strawberries dipped in chocolate? Mmm, what about a little taste of champagne?

We won’t judge anyone who partakes in the occasional guilty pleasure, but isn’t it peculiar that we choose to gift our love with things that aren’t actually healthy for our loved ones?

Forrest Gump once said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.” Well, actually Forrest, we know exactly what we’re going to get: divine, yet momentary bliss followed by sliding down a slippery slope of regret. Sugar does no body, any good.

We know these sugary and delightful treats are traditional (and easy) Valentine’s Day items, but how are they treating your and your loved ones’ bodies? What if you tried something different, say out of the (chocolate) box?

Leave the chocolates behind and opt for something healthier, like one of our 9 “Love Potions.” Don’t be silly–these aren’t witchy potions made with voodoo magic, but herbs and superfoods have been known to conjure up real health benefits. Pure Planet’s 9 Love Potions provide you with some of Mother Nature’s greatest gifts: Organic Tart Cherry, Aloe Vera, Ionic Elements and Ginseng. The best part: you can add these to most anything you already drink!

These treats can actually treat! Go figure.

Benefits

Organic Tart Cherry is made from tart cherry concentrate. Tart cherries are so rich in antioxidants, that they provide incredible benefits that can an impact on immune system function and even help regulate metabolism. And that’s just the tip of the cherry-flavored iceberg. According to a study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food, the melatonin present in tart cherries has effects similar to insomnia medications–the small group studied reported better and deeper sleep. Plus, our Tart Cherry is pretty delicious, so there’s that.

Aloe Vera 40x contains fresh aloe vera concentrate. Like tart cherries, aloe has so many benefits. For one thing, aloe vera is used to aid with stomach and digestive issues, like constipation. The aloe liquid actually increases the water content in your intestines and helps normalize healthy bacteria. This also helps with hydration and liver function.

Ionic Elements contains fulvic acid and trace minerals. Fulvic acid provides your body electrolytes that fuel your body at the cellular level. Pretty cool, right? This helps your cells easily absorb minerals and nutrients. Plus, it can help with digestions too!

Last, but not least is Ginseng. Our liquid-extract White American Ginseng (not Red/Panax Ginseng!) packs a healthy energy push, without jittery effects. Plus, ginseng has been said to help stimulate physical and mental activity, and even responses to stress. It’s the perfect compliment to morning or afternoon tea!
